My goodness, you guys really like Schroeder. This draft sucks. I am really coming around to the realization that we are not really getting another piece this year. Maybe a role player. Maybe.

Stupid comments. He can't play PG at pro level. He plays PG at the small level because he is overwhelmingly the best player on the court. That is what you do when you have a player who so much better than everyone else, you have the ball in their hands.

You do realize at 14 in any draft, even the 2nd of Coming of Jesus Christ Draft (aka 2014), the odds are still heavily against you to get a role player at 14 and especially against you at 21?

Role players are commonly had in the first round. All stars are not common at picks 14 and 21. People are acting like Schroeder is going to be better than any point guard in the league.

The odds are still in favor of drafting a player who is out of the league in 4 years.

Yeah, they are. Darren Collison, Patrick Patterson, Anthony Randolph, Ryan Anderson, Al Thornton, Daquan Cook, Ronnie Brewer, Rajon Rondo, Nate Robinson. Those guys were all taken either 14 or 21. It is a common thing to get role players in that range. Very common.
