Following potential 2013 draftees

"2013 pre-draft workouts are here! The Jazz will workout
6 players tomorrow: James Ennis (G - Long Beach St.), Jamelle Hagins (F - Delaware), Colton Iverson (C - Colorado St.), Myck Kabongo (G - Texas), Mike Snaer (G - Florida St.), Nate Wolters (G - South Dakota St.)."

interesting to see wolters against bongo.

I'll predict that the Jazz front office likes Wolters more than the average Jazzfanz poster. He might be the Gordon Hayward of point guards. At the same time, I think he's more skilled than Dragic and Vasquez. The Jazz have to know their options for PGs assuming McCollum and Schroeder are off the board at #14. If they're comfortable with Kabongo or Wolters at #21, then they can feel good about drafting another position at #14. I don't think they'll wait til the 2nd round to draft a point guard. At the same time, I'd be surprised if Shane Larkin is in play at #21.

It makes sense to cover their bases.

Any team that gave significant minutes to Earl Watson is bound to draft a point guard in the upcoming draft. It's just a question of which one.

My major concern with Wolters is his athletic abilities. Remember how he struggled against Burke in the tourney? He couldn't get anything going. The NBA is much faster/quicker than college ball.

I'd want to see if he can get close to at least Steph Curry's athleticism coming out of the Combine. He'd be worth the #21 pick if he can get somewhere within the orbit.

Wolters' athleticism and defense are the main question marks, but Wolters was actually guarded by a SG for much of the Michigan game that I saw. Michigan was pretty physical with him and kept him out of the lane by bumping him quite often. Wolters ended up 3 for 14. Bad shooting game for sure. Meanwhile Burke also had a bad game, starting out 0 for 9 and ending 2 for 12. He certainly didn't punish Wolters much.
