I hate to burst your bubble but he doesn't have to work out for a team in order to be drafted. It's not a prerequisite.

But in the case of Schroeder, why wouldn't a team work him out if that team is interested? We only really have the Hoop Summit to go by and evaluate him (yes Thee Jazz Fanz, I'm looking at you).

If a team is willing to spend a lottery pick on him, it's very unlikely that a team won't take a look at him at least once against legit lotto US PG competition.

As an example, if I were OKC I'd like to see Schroeder going up against MCW and Larkin.

OKC is in win now mode. They could go with Dennis, but I think it makes more sense to draft someone who can help them now. There will
be players available that will help them a lot more in the next 3 years than Schroeder will. Let's face it if we draft Schroeder he a few years away from leading us.

Why is Ainge so keen to trade Rondo?

Also, I don't think Rondo is a fit for the Jazz if the Jazz are really in tank mode. Not sure Rondo wants to rebuild with the Jazz.

Dallas is a team that should go after Rondo. Trading their #13 pick would get Schroeder to Boston, if that's what Boston wants.

I've never seen actual evidence that Ainge is anxious to oust Rondo. Seeing what he can get for him, maybe, but trying to rid the team of him, no.

This is a concern... Carlisle & Dirk would probably be able to handle Rondo... but does Cuban think Rondo is a necessity to winning a Championship? I think not. Even Jason Kidd had to improve his 3pt shooting 3 folds to win that Championship against the Heat.... do the Mavs have that kind of confidence in Rondo?

He'll be fustrated as **** if Hayward/Burks can't hit those 3's consistently, and Kanter misses those put-backs & dunks..

He'll be great for us in 2 years time, but not right now.
