Following potential 2014 draftees

I admit I was quite surprised to hear that James Young has the highest vertical on the UK team.
With his length and leaping, I guess I'm less surprised that he, as a wing player, averaged more than 15 rebounds last year.

Here's a vid that includes a dunk that shows some hops, I guess.

He's jersey #1.

Wayne Selden is up to #14 in DX's board. I thought he'd rise. He could move up a few more spots too if he plays hard. He's got great tools.

Youngs dunk and hops was pretty badass...... but why was #30 and #44's dunks on there? They were horrible.

I thought the most impressive was #00. Who is that?

Yes. Lee has major hops for a 6'10 guy... third highest vert on the team.

As to why some of those dunks were on there.. it was just a little bit of everybody. I believe Dakari Johnson was one that was un.derwhelming.. but he's a 7 footer and a banger.. not much need for highlight dunks. Just break the backboard big guy.

My one concern with the Jazz right now is that Burke doesn't look like a PG who can get into the lane and all the way to the rim. I like Burke as a player, but I think Andrew Harrison or Marcus Smart would likely make the Jazz a better team. Exum could also come into play. The Jazz are going to have to make some hard decisions this next offseason.
I agree re: Burke. AS much as we needed a PG - and he was likely the best one in the draft at that spot - he might not be anything more than middle of the pack in terms of starting points.

Yeah.. I'd still say I'd prefer the combination of Burke & Jabari/Exum over Andrew Harrison & KCP/Bazz though.

Great article.

It again confirms my believe that Julius Randle is the hungriest player to have ever come into the draft since LeBron.

Someone feed him!
