The Jazz might believe Porzingis can also play defense. Crazier things have happened.
If I was running the show the only player I trade Favors for is KAT. Porzingis looks intriguing but he has too many questions surrounding him for me to feel comfortable trading away Favors.I can't help but think the Jazz are going to entertain a discussion with the Knicks about moving Favors for the #4 pick. If they think this Porzingis guy is going to be awesome, I think DL has the balls to make that deal.
It won't go away for me.

Also; Does anyone remember being on the "Jazz should pick Jerian Grant in the 2nd round" train last year other than me? (just wondering, I can't remember. I kinda feel like people didnt pay it much mind since it wasn't being confirmed by the draft sites...)
It would take #12 and Favors for #4, would you do that? The only other deal close to that value would be Bledsoe and #13. Hill and #11 isn't even close. That's about it, imo.
This is such a great post.
IMO Grant will be one of those guys who sticks in this draft. I have a feeling about this kid. I don't know if 12 is too high for him but at the end of 8 years I'm guessing that Grant will still be a very productive player in the league over many other higher draft picks.
Are you tooting your own horn to yourself?

I think the Jazz would entertain the same deal even if their target were Hezonja. They reportedly really like him too. Don't underestimate the significance of Gobert's emergence at the 5.
They would have to be totally sold on those guys, but they're both about 20 and would develop together with Gobert and Exum. Assuming those guys all pan out, you've really got something.
I'm sure the Jazz would offer Burks, Hood, 12, future picks, etc. and put off the idea of trading Derrick Favors, but if the Knicks are working out guys like Lyles, Kaminsky and now Looney, it's because the Knicks are targeting someone specific on the Heat, Pacers, Jazz, and/or Suns.
