Following potential 2015 draftees

Dunno, I'd rather swing for the fence and go with Looney or Winslow.

Looney, who doesn't have a real position in the NBA? I know you think everybody can play the 3, but they can't. Winslow has pretty much no offensive game at this point. He can handle the ball decently well, but he can't shoot. Good up-tempo player, but when playing in a half court setting you basically don't have to guard him. Great defender. I don't see why you think Booker is that much different that Thompson from when they played in college. They basically did the same things as freshman.

What about Caris LaVert? He seems like an intriguing prospect to me. Pretty well-rounded, which seems to fit in with what Snyder likes. Struggled being the leading man at Michigan though, so he's definitely not the type to be a #1. You also have to wonder if Michigan is inflating guys stats with how Burke and Stauskas played there. With that said, Beilein has obviously found a way to maximize these guys, our coaches should find a way as well.

Pretty much the only worry with Booker for me is his length. I'd like to see how he measures on the combine, because Kentucky's measurement was kind of short, but it also measured Towns shorter than he's been measured before. If he measures at 6'8'' I'd comfortably pick him borderline top 10. Maybe even a bit earlier if you want to take a chance on a superb shooter.

His injury might make him return for one more year. He is pretty wiry and skinny. He looked great to me in the beginning of the season. But I agree, I don't see him as a star in the NBA...

People get way too caught up in height and length. It's nice, but it doesn't make or break a player. I still remember some posters clowning on Hayward for just having a 6'8 wingspan.

Its weird, ive always thought of Burks as more of a homerun pick than Kawhi. A lot people on this board were saying Burks was the next Wade. Who knows, he might be, but Id take kawhi at this point.

Im just a big fan of shooting and length. I think with Booker you get shooting. With Oubre you get elite length a la Leonard and Draymond Green.

6'8'' is not horrible... it's probably about average for a wing in the league. 6'6'' is kind of short though. Of course it doesn't predetermine his success, but it's much easier to be a good defender with several extra inches of length. Without it, he'd have to have great timing, anticipation and defensive instincts. I am not sure yet about those...

In O, I think his athleticism is more important for his in-paint game(and he seems to have above average athleticism) and his quick and high release(has both) are important for his jump shooting, so I am not really worried for his offensive game.
