Notice the projection of Portis at #11. First time I've seen him projected that high. I agree that Looney positionally is a good fit for the Jazz. I just hope he can develop physically. I'm not happy if both Portis and Oubre are taken by 11.

Building on what Chad Ford said in his chat this week, I'm thinking that Turner's placement near our draft position is a placeholder until his medical comes out in the combine. If the medical looks good, he rises. If it doesn't, he falls. Either way, he's unlikely to stay in our range.
I like this mock, he makes a lot of sense.

I'm hoping for either Oubre or Looney. I think they have the most potential and best combination of defense/shooting. If they're both gone, then I'd look at Portis and Kaminsky.
I would not mind taking a flyer on those two guys in the second. Garcia was a real hot name coming into this season, but has struggled though. Osman is intriguing as well. Would not expect to see either one for at least 2-3 years though.
With those 4 on the board in the first I say go with Mr. Badger.

I'm sure no one has seen him play live, but he looked good on DX. Seems like the prototypical mid-major 2nd round kind of guy who goes unnoticed, but has all the physical and athletic tools to be a NBA player.
That would be a good outcome. I'm a broken record, but the defensive length and quickness between Oubre and Exum can be stifling.
