1 thing about the Greek league. Other than Olympiakos and Panathinaikos who figuratively and possibly literally represent the Greek billionaires who have never paid taxes in their whole lives, the rest of the Greek league is similar to the economic situation of the Greek government. And it shows in the talent that these teams attract nowadays.

Yep, that's very true. Greek league is not as great as it used to be, but that's why you try to look at his games vs the best teams and he's been pretty efficient and prolific even against them. He's had great games both against Panathinakos and Olimpiakos, he also had a pretty strong showing against CSKA Moscow in their preseason meeting. He also played in the summer with the Bulgarian national team in FIBA Euro Qualies and faced against Israel twice. I know Omri Casspi is not known for his defense, but Vezenkov held his own against him. Scored 19 in one of the games and 20 in the other one.

In general he's been doing well offensively against any competition he's faced. I don't know if the jump to the NBA would be too big though.

I've heard great things about him. Every single thing I've heard about his character makes me want to get him instead of any of the other wings that might be available at our draft spot. From what I've heard he's a great team player and is willing to take on the dirty work, and all his teammates love him. I've heard that he's a gym rat, too. At this age and stage of his development willingness to fit in the system and working hard to improve are to a large extent more important than what his game looks like right now. He has all the tools, he has great size and built, he has great length and is above average athletically. I feel like with hard work and good development coaching he can excel at the next level.

His midrange game is quite horrible, but he seems to hit the 3 and is somewhat good slasher. He also is better passer than both Johnson and Oubre.
