I'm starting to come around on Exum a bit. Our defense actually started getting better when he was placed into the starting lineup. I'd like to see if we can move up to 5 or 6 in case someone slips, but would only want to use draft assets and/or Trey Burke.

When draft order is set I'll be making hoards of fake trades that will never happen... don't worry I won't share them.

I was feeling down on Exum too, but I really like what he's brought the starting lineup. Any jump in his production will be amazing. We just need a shooting threat at the 2. We don't want to trade away our bench either (cause it's small as is).
 
Combining FG% at rim and volume, Winslow easily projects as the best driver and finisher. Stanley Johnson's finishing ability seems a little questionable.

Thanks for those numbers, I was looking for them but couldn't find them. Can you share where you got them, by any chance? Thanks.

So my eye test was completely wrong about Booker(or I've caught him in a bad short-time period lately). Winslow's numbers around the rim are great!

All those are mediocre assets. The whole reason the Sixers are tanking is for the Superstar potential assets. It's why we traded MCW. Sixers already have quantity, with 7-9 draft picks this year alone (5 second rounders, up to 4 first rounders).

What I heard earlier that was interesting was Exum included in the deal with 3 firsts. If Hinkie has another deal to package Miami+Jazz up to the 6-8 range for Hezonja, I can actually see that happening. This proposal is sort of trash though.

Yeah nah, I'd rather hang on to Exum. We're only just starting to scratch the surface of what he can do. He's already a better defender than most PGs in the league.

There's nothing in this draft that justifies Exum + 3 first-round picks. Nothing.

Exum alone is probably a top-5 prospect in this draft.
 
At this point I think I'm fine taking the best available wing at #11 or #12... Winslow could be really good. If he is a hard worker he could become the Jimmy Butler type we all are salivating over. The only guy I don't like is Oubre... potential attitude issues, plus a low motor... Just think those things are harder to fix than a jumper.
 
If we ranked Exum's defense amongst point guards where would he rank?

His finishing around the rim is great and he finishes with both left and right hand. He rebounds very well... He has a bit of a eurostep developing, a bit of slashing. As long as you are not relying on him to create much offense in the half-court I think he can be very good for an NBA team down the road.

He's an intriguing athlete, sure. The defense and intangibles are there. It's just a question of how his offense develops. If it really comes together for him, maybe he can be like a Jerry Stackhouse offensively, but he's got a long way to go.

I think the Jazz are looking for a sweet shooter.
