Following potential 2015 draftees

I know we aren't in the market for a point guard, but Cameron Payne is really interesting to me. Can't say I've watched an actual game of his, but the way he defends and gets his points should translate. His passing is nice, but I can see him having some trouble with the length at the next level as he fits his passes in tight windows and doesn't throw bounce passes.

Anyway if we felt like taking on another prospect at point (I don't think we do) I'd take him over Grant and Wright for sure.

funny we are talking about write up when there is a player on the jazz who went undrafted. was on the jazz summer league sucked big time and now he is back and has a place on an nba roster, Elijah millsap. he was awful coming out of college. only got a chance because of his brother.

Or the Jazz FO liked parts of this game and wanted him to develop others before calling him up.

Here's a podcast by EuroLeagueAdventures.com's Sam Meyerkopf with guest Mike Schmitz from DX, talking about the Euro prospects:

They are gushing about Hezonja and think he can be a two-way wing in the league who will contribute right away; a bit worried about Porzingis' ability to defend in the league and don't think he'd be ready - fit will be important; like Luwawu's potential, don't like Vezenkov as an NBA prospect - they think he's way too slow and unathletic and can't defend any wing(weird, because I think of him as a stretch 4, so he'd have to defend 4s rather than 3s); they think George Lucas will be a major project and see DLeague in his future for whoever drafts him... They also talk about series of other players:Nedim Buza, Arturas Gudiatis/Dani Diez/Rade Zagorac/Paul Zipser, Willy Hernangomez, Cedi Osman, Moussa Diagne, Mam Jaiteh, Nikola Milutinov, Nenad Miljenovic...

Yeah, Vezenkov looks like a dude who is going to have a huge physical shock with NBA athleticism and strength. I don't see him doing much either, but I dont know much on him. Only seen a few highlights. Looks like a slow/weak tweener who can score.

Vezenkov is a stretch 4 but if he has the work ethic he can get a little more athleticism. I think P3 can do wonders as long as they have basketball skills, sorry evans. I would take him in the second round for sure

I am in the boat right now of lets see what we can give no sactown to swap picks and draft Hezonja. I personally think Hezonja is the missing piece to the Jazz puzzle. In addition to trading burke and letting burks play the 1 with hood being primary ball handler.

he is listed as 200 lbs. That isn't a stretch 4, not by NBA standars.

Name 1 200 lb PF who isn't an athlete who has made it in the league.

Looks like Barca has him on ice now. Only played 3 minutes in a Spanish league game they won pretty comfortably.

I see the Jazz have a group workout tomorrow. Normally this board creates a work out thread, but normally the workouts don't start until after the combine.

Should I start the workouts thread or just dump it in this thread?

Just noticed Myles Turner's assists and steals are really poor, and his rebounding is mediocre given his role and minutes. Not encouraging.
