Following potential 2015 draftees

@AlexKennedyNBA
I'm hearing that Jarell Martin has a mid-first-round promise from a team and will likely shut down all workouts.

Wow. Smokescreen?

I hate promises, because a team isn't actually held to them. Prospects should try to arrange workouts with numerous teams to increase their stock. Similar to an NFL draft "Pro Day" experience. Do it on a home court, under favorable circumstances and invite all of the teams that are outside of your target area and try to entice one of them to trade up for you. Then have private workouts with the top 3-5 teams that you want to land with.

After that, fly to meet with any teams that show a lot of interest, but don't workout. Don't risk your health or your draft stock.

Turner or Johnson are still probably the best likely outcome for this team in the draft. The good news is that Porzingis and WCS likely go earlier than our pick, pushing other prospects down. The bad news is that if they go to early, it might elevate Turner and push him out of our reach also. I'm still pretty sure that I'll be happy with whoever the Jazz end up with.

@ESPNSteinLine: Draft scuttle: Hearing Porzingis not only in play for Philly at No. 3 but now giving Lakers something to ponder at No. 2. Stock rising fast

Haha. The draft is such a crapshoot. Love this time of year.
