If he is a can't miss talent sure you draft him regardless.


But at #12 this year there are so many players in the same tier so many to choose from why be stuck with a guy who doesn't want to be here? When the talent is so close this certainly is a factor to consider.
 
Kaminsky is stupid for even saying he has a list of three teams. You are trying to get drafted wtf is wrong with him. I've soured on him the past couple of weeks anyways.

He is getting drafted either way.

No reason to be butt-hurt. I would probably do the same thing if I was in that position of relative power.

Nah, he has a position. He knows he is going to get drafted at least in the top 15, so why not try to influence where you go a bit? It's in his interest to go to a good situation, it's going to influence the rest of his career.

Its not about butt hurt. I have never seen a player projected mid 1st and late lottery start limiting his workouts.

It's either him OR his agent.


If its him that's certainly bad for us. If it's his agent then we've got another "Kanter" type situation on our hands .... and do we really want that?

Maybe, but I am also not a fan of him so this just seems silly to me considering he is not a surefire talent. I am biased however

He is projected mid to late lottery.

And why not limit workouts? We just saw Michael Qualls injure his ACL in a workout a few days ago. Teams know what Kaminksy can do, no reason to do too many workouts when you are such a known player.

Damnit that's just my point!! Good hell. U have no idea the intentions of the player. U overthink everything. But if the Jazz want frank but frank doesn work out for us then u start creating perceptions that u can walk all over us and we lose respect as an org then more players feel they can decline just because they have a perception of how bad it is to live in Utah if the Jazz like him and want to draft him. The fact that he didn't want to work out for us shouldn't matter u still draft him then show him what a bad *** team this is. And u make it work.

Why would any young player want to play for Utah? We already have young, high lottery picks at every position who are probably more talented than anyone we are going to draft. Anyone we draft is looking at a backup role nearly guaranteed for the next 4 years. I don't blame young guys for not being overly excited to come workout for us.
