Terrible. I like Winslow.. but it's more like defense instead of offense.. not both.

That's one of the worst comparisons I've ever heard. Winslow has intensity and takes pride in his defense. Harden slacks off and takes plays off all the time and lacks the concentration to play off-ball defense. Harden is one of the best offensive players in the game, great iso-player, great penetration, use of change of direction, hesitations, eurosteps, great at creating separation off the dribble. Those are all weaknesses for Winslow who has real trouble creating offense and playing in isolations. Pretty much the only thing that is similar in their games is that they play physical and take contact well. I heard the exact same comparison for Marcus Smart last year. Absolutely ridiculous. They see a physical player and they put the most obvious comparison simply on that criterion, without looking at style of play, skills, etc.

What's the alternative? Try to sign leftover vet FAs and then fool ourselves into believing mediocre players can fix our situation? We'd have a slightly more entertaining season at the expense of ever having something special like we did during the glory years. Meh.
