Whenever he decides to come out, Tyler Ulis is going to be a great draft pick. Won't go high because of his height, but he just knows how to play basketball. Tremendously high bball IQ, good shooter, passer, defender…he does it all. If he's 6'3, he's a top 5 pick this year. Best PG on Kentucky's team IMO, and it really isn't that close. He could be the closest thing to Stockton when it's all said and done.
I'll say it now, he'll end up having a better NBA career than anybody on that team except maybe Towns. I like Lyles a decent amount too. Reminds me of David West a little, but I don't think he's as tough.

I'm in on Myles Turner if our pick lands after the first 5 picks... If he is soft he is putting up some sick numbers while being soft. From all the stuff I've read he seems like a good kid. He could be our stretch 4 with defense. I'm not sure why people think he's soft. He struggle against Kentucky, but so does everybody... Kentucky's frontcourt is redonkulous.

He's averaging 12 pts. 7 rebs and 3 blocks a game in 20 minutes per... He's 18 and playing for a pretty good team... They are only 13 games into their season.
I don't think aggression is an issue... I'll wait to decide if I think he's soft because I haven't watched him in any full games yet.

PKM, what do you think about Devin Booker? From the limited footage and games I've seen he's my sneaky favorite player this year so far. His shot is money and he seems to have great skills. I read somewhere(maybe here) a comparison with Klay Thompson and I can definitely see the resemblance there. 6'6''-6'7'' wingspan is not ideal, but his athleticism and quickness might be good enough to compensate. What do you think about him and do you see him as an above average defender in the league? What about on the offensive end? Do you think he has the skills to be more than a spot-up shooter?
Also... in different mocks I see him going into 2015 or 2016 draft. Which one do you think he'd go for?

Numbers don't mean **** if you don't watch tape.
So far, I look at this draft class and I see three players with All Star potential--Okafor, Towns and Hezonja.
I realize that WCS has top-5 DPOY potential, but I also think that he's had the benefit of playing next to some pretty good defensive players, like Noel, Poythress, Dakari Johnson, Towns, etc. in some decent defensive schemes, so it gives him the freedom to roam a bit and might make him look a bit better than he'd look in the pros.

Meh... I've watched a few highlights... I'll watch a game or two before the season is over, but numbers matter. He rebounds well, blocks a ton of shots, and shoots the ball very well for a big guy. He has the highest PER of anyone projected to be drafted this year. In theory he has a skill set that would line up will with our current talent... he seems really interesting to me.
I don't know if he is soft, but I wouldn't dismiss the guy even if he was. Trevor Booker is a tough guy, but he sucks at shooting, passing, and ball handling... Ryan Anderson is soft but is still an effective NBA player. Outside of the consensus top 4 guys I think Turner has as much potential or more potential than any other player in the draft. Every prospect has shortcomings... the big knock on Wiggins was that he was passive.
