U want to trade up to draft a 10-15 minute backup?
Allen could definitely fall to 24, it's in the cards.

You don't think tyler Lydon couldn't give us good mins? Draft X and nba draft.net have us drafting him at 30. If that were to happen I'd be estatic. Package the 24 with Lyles, next year's #1 and move up in the draft.
Is there a guy we can draft at 24/30 that will get heavy minutes in the near future? I don't see it.
Also would be nice to have someone just in case something happened to rudy.
I found our backup for Rudy....

I think to myself -- "If Justise Winslow could shoot..."
I doubt he falls to 24.My gut is telling me we'll draft John Collins if he's there, and my gut might be bigger than yours right now.
The draft is before fa....That would be DL's line of thinking too. If Hayward walks then something like a draft trade up would be in play as we would be in re-tooling mode.
He would be a good fit. Not sure I trust the shot. Shoots it a bit flat. Kuzma better player/shooter.Now I kinda want DJ Wilson. Moves well without the ball. Good potential as a stretch 4, and has some nice athletic ability. Would fit nicely next to Gobert.

I worry that he's a bit soft, but he might have been dealing with old injuries. If he can be more aggressive, especially defensively and on the boards, he could be good.
I don't worry about his rebounding. I think his lack of rebound production was due to Beilein's system. Beilein's teams are almost always terrible rebounding teams. If you look back over all the teams he's coached at Michigan most if not all of his bigs average 5 or 6 rebounds per game tops.
