Following potential 2017 draftees...

You don't think tyler Lydon couldn't give us good mins? Draft X and nba draft.net have us drafting him at 30. If that were to happen I'd be estatic. Package the 24 with Lyles, next year's #1 and move up in the draft.

I know people in todays nba are looking for bigs that can stretch that floor that said I would be disappointed if the jazz drafted Lydon.

besides being a good shooter, he seems bad everywhere else. so he's going to have become a elite shooter, if he isn't what can he really provide at the next level.

Is there a guy we can draft at 24/30 that will get heavy minutes in the near future? I don't see it.

Also would be nice to have someone just in case something happened to rudy.

I'd be surprised if whoever we drafted this year got over 20 mpg, at any position (barring what happens with Hill/Hayward/Ingles).

I found our backup for Rudy....

The thing about Allen is a big knock on him is his desire/motor. His rebounding numbers were mediocre at best for a guy his size and playing his minutes. A lot of potential there though if he learns to play hard.

Now I kinda want DJ Wilson. Moves well without the ball. Good potential as a stretch 4, and has some nice athletic ability. Would fit nicely next to Gobert.

I worry that he's a bit soft, but he might have been dealing with old injuries. If he can be more aggressive, especially defensively and on the boards, he could be good.

I don't worry about his rebounding. I think his lack of rebound production was due to Beilein's system. Beilein's teams are almost always terrible rebounding teams. If you look back over all the teams he's coached at Michigan most if not all of his bigs average 5 or 6 rebounds per game tops.

Maybe, I watched about 3 Michigan (full) games on youtube last week and he is just kind of lazy at defensive rebounding. Doesnt track the ball at all and isnt aggressive to the glass. If it doesnt come to him, he isnt going to go get it. He does opt for the leak out strategy more than most PFs, but when he doesnt he still isnt attacking the glass, he is just watching it.
