Following potential 2017 draftees...

I don't think so. You put Ball on Washington and they win more games.

Spare me the buffoonery. Ball wouldn't know what to do without the spacing UCLA's stacked team gives him. Fultz would be disgusting w/ how UCLA can spread the floor.

*And just to clarify, I'm not saying Ball sucks, but he is on a very atypical college team that can space the floor where Fultz is on a young team that can't.

You put TJ Leaf/Thomas Welsch in Washington's starting lineup and no one can guard that team. UCLA has such incredible spacing because of how those two can free up the paint.

You take Lonzo Ball off UCLA and they are still a tourney team, guaranteed.

You take Fultz off Washington and they struggle to win any games.

How? LSU ended up 19-14. Fultz would have to run off 10-straight to tie that.

LSU had a 2nd NBA level prospect and another servicable rookie in Blakeney.
Fultz has 2 4 star sophomores on his team, who aren't that good yet, while Simmons was playing with Juniors and Seniors. Big difference.
I don't even know how good the coaches are on both teams. Fultz is real though. What he does is so sound.

It is a fair question. I'm not sold on him as an NBA prospect, but he seems to have the college game figured out. Isn't he a couple inches taller than Hansbrough?

No idea, there arent any official measurments on Happ. Measurments will probably make or break him as a prospect. He looks about 6'9 with a bad wingspan though. Hansborough was about 6'8 with a pretty meh wingspan (I think 6'11).

Happ is much more agile than Hansbrough ever was. The Hansbroughs and Udonis Haslems of the NBA are a low-priority dying breed. Happ isn't a 1st rder but neither would Tyler be in this draft IMO. I could see Happ sneaking into the 45-50 range in this draft in a best-case scenario if he keeps playing as he has been. I'm confident the Jazz would prefer Caleb Swanigan to Happ at this point probably by a wide margin..

Fultz is just fine anyone questioning him probably hasn't watched him all that much. The PAC 12 is much deeper this year than last and they blundered early in the non-conference scheudle.. it isn't the fault of Fultz.. Romar is a notoriously ****ty coach.. their bigs are all projects.. Thybulle is actually pretty good IMO, I think he's got Raja Bell like potential.

also keep in mind that Josh Jackson turns 20 this week and Fultz will turn 20 after his rookie season.

This part is the truth, they'd win 20 even with subpar coaching.. UCLA has an embarrassment of offensive riches anyone trying to downplay that certainly doesn't know what their talmbout.

I don't even know how good the coaches are on both teams.

The Washington fans I know (several of em) unanimously swear that Lorenzo Romar's completely incompetent and unfit to coach, and swear the only reason why he's still there is because of his numerous recruiting homeruns (The Porter Bro's next year)..

One thing, you could see it last year watching Marquese Chriss was they like to try and block everything, even at the expense of biting on pumpfakes.... They've been one of the NCAA's leaders in blocks many years in a row, but it certainly doesn't translate to wins or NCAA tournament appearances (Haven't made it since 2011 despite ample talent..)

Ever since Andrew Andrews graduated they've played this reckless, scattered, disjointed, fragmented, manic brand of basketball. It's alot like watching HS basketball..

Malik Dime is like 25 years old and has seemingly made 0 progress there.. LOL..

VJ King with his 1st 20pt game in college,UL's getting drilled by UVA tho.

An ofer from 3 for Donovan Mitchell. His outside shot is crucial for his upside/Skillset and ultimately 1st rd chances
