I think one of them will be there and not 21. I'm not terribly high on any of them. I put Miles Bridges on a similar plane as Mikal, but I think the fit is better here with his ability to play big (Mikal has longer arms but has a substantially weaker frame).I'd only trade up if Mikal Bridges, Zhaire Smith or Lonnie Walker fell to a spot where we could trade up for them. Or if it was a situation where we needed to move up a couple spots to get Okobo. Other than that I'd rather stay at 21.
So I guess the way the Washington thing COULD happen is:
-Washington wants to really trust the Jazz
-the Jazz could promise to jettison enough cap to absorb Gortat after July 1st
-Washington selects who the Jazz want, then perform the transaction after July 1st (probably also throwing in Bradley or Udoh).
In that scenario, the Jazz keep 21 because the Wizards save a ******** of money.
Favors with a three point shot.
Have him pull the Jarron Collins 20-30 lb weight loss between draft and camp.
I think DD has the fire that match DM, but Spellman’s got the exact skill set we need: rebounding, defense, and shooting. And I don’t think he needs many touches or development to bring a lot of that to the floor early on. Good passer, too.And he’s got a motor like draymond Green.
Omari Spellman is going to be a damn good player for someone. I’d love to have him for us. His outside shooting with Gobert would spread the court unlike we’ve ever seen. The last big we’ve had that could shoot like him was Money Memo.
Satoransky has positive value on his own, I don't think they would be willing to just give him up to dump salary. IMO they don't do this. Also... this is technically illegal deal since you cannot combine players with TPEs(but it can be done as two separate deals - Gortat for Burks and the pick swap and Satoransky for the TPE)....Think Washington goes for:
-Burks, #21 (and Joe Johnson TPE)
-Gortat, Satoransky, #15
?
So you're saying it works?Satoransky has positive value on his own, I don't think they would be willing to just give him up to dump salary. IMO they don't do this. Yah, it works, but IMO precisely because he's a nice player it won't be him that WAS will be dumping. They probably will want to dump Meeks instead. So you're saying it works?
I am fully aware of that as I mentioned it earlier in the thread.
Anyway, I know Satoransky is a nice player, that's why I targeted him.
