Following Potential 2020 draftees

Ab N'Doye could be a cheap version of what we thought we were getting when we drafted Exum.

Guard, 6-foot-7, 21 years old

The lengthy, versatile combo guard with a 7-foot-3 wingspan is enjoying his best professional season. He is averaging 11.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game so far this season. N’Doye is shooting a personal-best 41.4 percent from three-point range. The guard also connected on 40.0 percent of his three-pointers during FIBA Junior events at the U20 Euro Championship A in 2018. After testing the waters last season, he may be feeling ready for NBA action next season. If not, the draft-and-stash route they took with Didi Louzada Silva could be a viable option.

DeAndre Williams looks interesting too. Reminds me a lil of Hakim Warrick.

Big, 6-foot-9, 22 years old

Williams has been one of the most underrated players in the NCAA and has earned rising draft consideration with his play. The freshman seemingly never misses, putting up 16.9 points per game. He is shooting 48.3 percent from three-point range and has been one of the most accurate shooters off the catch. He is also putting up insane numbers as a pick-and-pop threat, too, averaging 2.1 points per possession on these opportunities. That ranks as the most efficient in the NCAA this season. He has also grabbed 7.7 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.

Sam Vecenie has a new 2 round mock draft. Let me know if there's any players you want to see.

He has us taking Tre Jones, just like the ESPN+ guys. Third Tre's the charm...
The Jazz have turned to Donovan Mitchell to stabilize the point guard position due to Mike Conley’s injury issues and some ineffectiveness there. They also don’t really have a great long-term option as a backup point guard after dealing Dante Exum.

Jones has been really quite terrific this season for Duke despite missing a few games. He’s averaging 14.2 points and 7.2 assists while still playing absolutely elite level defense at the point of attack. He still is struggling to shoot it, but it looks a bit better this season than it’s been in the past. His ability to distribute and get all of his teammates involved is elite, and he’s a way better athlete than he gets credit for, capable of buzzing in and out of the lane. Even if the shooting never totally comes along, it’s hard to see how Jones ends up being worse than a backup point guard. If it does come along, he has starter upside.

Extremely strong performance by Anthony Edwards yesterday. He dropped 20 in the first half vs Tennessee.

That might be enough to push him up to #1 on my board.

I view him as Bradley Beal with much better measurables. Dude is built like a 30 year old body builder. A Bradley Beal thats not built like a 14 year old is a scary thought.

Some 2020 Draft thoughts:

Still really like Wieskamp. He started the year off slow, but is starting to play very strong. Great conference numbers.

Reggie Perry is a name I'm really interested in now. Undersized center with a big frame w/ ball-handling/passing ability and shooting upside. Similar to Bam Adebayo but slightly less long. Plays out of position in college. Starting to put up some monster games.

Defensive specialist Chris Smith (UCLA) dropped 30 last night and they beat Colorado! That showing is gonna bump his stock up for sure.
