Every decision that was made for him was made under the guise of 'how do we keep this guy close and make sure we don't lose him.' it wasn't what's best for this kids development. It's like let's turn down USA Basketball invites, let's not send him to Montverde academy or IMG or a place where he's going to get pushed everyday in practice. And so, it was not, let's put him in the Nike EYBL where he's either going to sink or swim . It's going to be hard to make up for all the time that he's missed. The fact that he spent the last 8 months, obviously not getting into great shape. We saw in the pro day, to me he was huffing and puffing after 30 seconds. He was moving at half speed. That did nothing to ease my mind about those concerns, I just don't trust this guy.
