Following Potential 2020 draftees

I think it's going to be one of McDaneils, Poku, Green, or Woodard. Tyler Bey also a possibility, but I'd assume he isnt as high as those 4.

Would guess it's 1. Poku, 2. McDaniels. 3. Green 4. Woodard

There's a bit of buzz that OKC wants to move up in the draft and grab Pokusevski. David Locke's Locked on T'wolves guy thinks the #17 pick is on the trade market, and Poku could go there.

I'm starting to doubt that Green lasts until #23. His Combine probably helped him.

I'm worried about Denver taking McDaniels at #22 to replace Will Barton and/or Jerami Grant, but at the same time, I doubt they'd pass on Maxey if he's there.

The issue is that the rumor is they want to package that #17 pick and Jarret Culver to move up in the draft. I dont think that pick is gonna be a sold to the highest bidder with the clock running on the pick type of situation.

its still bizarre to me that Wiseman for so long was considered to be more in the top5 or top8 range of this draft, it feels like a return to reality seeing him projected 1 and 2 with weeks to go.

wait, Tyrell Terry's listed at #39 on ESPN's best available now? behind Peyton Pritchard?! Teams must've been surprised with his short wingspan.

love woodard.
@Saint Cy of JFC : your thoughts on Locke's public vacillation in his love affair with Woodward? Specifically,
  • difficulty of judging Woodward based on the inability of his guards and team to put him in a position to best utilize his skills (surprised he hasn't said anything one way or the other about Perry in relation to his role on the team/offense) -- (or related, do you have hopes for offensive skills that he hasn't been able to yet show?)
  • worries about Woodward's lapses of concentration on defense
  • possibilities of providing secondary rim protection

Idk if this was posted but apparently Devon Dotson hung out with Donovan a little bit..

What are some of the things that you like to do when you’re not playing basketball?

DD: I like to play games or watch shows with my family and friends. I just picked up golfing recently. That’s going well. I was up the whole game yesterday and somehow, at the last hole, Donovan Mitchell went up four strokes on me. I don’t know how that happened. But I feel like I’m pretty good.

I know you also recently worked out with Donovan Mitchell. Can you share some of the advice he has given you about taking the leap to the pros?

DD: I tried to ask a lot of questions. His biggest thing was confidence and making the most of your opportunity. He was a guy that was lucky enough to have that opportunity right away and step in. He was saying that you might not play your first year or you might be the man. But you have to stay level-headed and make the most out of the opportunities even though everyone does not have the same path. You have to come in and work.

Dotson could be a guy that falls far enough to get with a bought 2nd rounder. He could go late first early second.

Go check out Spencer Pearlman's twitter feed. He loves Bane and has some great breakdowns. If he's there I think I'd take him over all the other wings. Just seems like such a good fit for the system and next to DM. I get that he's old but his stuff off of picks and without the ball is great... add in the passing and smart defense and I'm willing to look past the TRex arms.

This passing/playmaking aspect moves the needle for me in a big way. The Jazz are a pretty ****** team at moving the ball at this point and Ingles is only get more and more marginalized.

I don't see this thread unless I go out of my way to look for it and it's kinda fun to have arrived at similar points as others whose perspectives I value.

I'm high on Woodard and Bey. Also coming around on Bane (I cannot stress enough that we need to figure out how to plug what we're gonna lose as Ingles ages out). Very intrigued by Maledon.

Who's the athletic 3 and D wing with legit size? We also got none of those. Is that Josh Greene?
