What's new

Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I'm cooling on this draft pretty quickly. A lot of guys haven't looked great in conference play. There is still a lot of time left though, so I'm not ready to be too critical.
That and there just aren't a lot of upperclassmen In in love with. It's basically Fleming and Dent, maybe Karaban too.

I could see Philon going top 5. Edgecombe is right there and is a better athlete than Philon, but Philon has been sooooo much better.

Maybe top 5 in my heart.

He's going to have to start shooting much better to go that high.

Someone really bad at shooting is probably going to be top 5. Between Philon, Demin, and Edgecombe I think Philon's performance has been the best so far.

For reference, this is ESPN's mock from one year ago today. A lot will change:

Ooof. 3 of 32. Just took a turnaround fadeaway 3 with 6 seconds left while down 2 and missed. Really poor decision to even take the shot.
I agree. I just don't see all the hype. The way he has played isn't showing me that he is a lottery pick. I don't think he is ready for the NBA.

The announcers were so dumb when they criticized him on the dunk attempt. He had a wide open path to the rim for a dunk and they criticize him for not passing out to the open 3 point shooter. i get that open threes are great shots but a dunk is still way better.
They also thought there was a technical for hanging on the rim when it was just basket interference and we’re talking about how Kevin Young compared Catchings to Miles Bridges but he was clearly referring to Mikal Bridges. Not the best crew ever.
