Following Potential 2025 Draftees

You're getting the Devin Booker, Brad Beal, Khris Middleton archetype. Passable defense is what you get in return for a weapon scorer. The Jazz don't have this level of talent on their roster.

That might archetype, but that’s also the top percentile outcome. Wayyyy more likely to be a Hield than a Booker.

I actually think don’t think he is good at creating space. He creates space can get his jumper off, but he has to shoot so many tough jumpers because he can’t beat guys off the dribble. Maybe that’s semantics, but guy who can beat his man off the dribble has no problems finding his jumper.

What bothers me about Tre is that while his highlights look cool with incredible shots being made it also doubles as a reel of him being unable to get good shots. When I watched him play full games, I got the same vibe.

Tre is an A+ shooting prospect (which is still important obviously), but an underwhelming prospect otherwise.

I disagree. I think he's going to be pretty good off the dribble. He gets to his jumper because he believes in it. He's much more mobile, athletic and quick than Buddy Hield. He also shoots with a quicker release.

He's also a quantifiably better prospect coming out of college than Beal.

He's Brice Sensabaugh with handle and a high IQ/feel.
Funny. I watched the highlight video posted and was going to say his shot and body remind me of Sensabaugh

Shooting off the dribble, maybe, but his ability to attack the basket off the dribble is not there. Pull-up jumpers look cool, they generally do not produce efficient offense.

Also? Hard disagree on Beal. Beal got to the rim and free throw line at a much higher rate which is why he was more efficient even though that was 10+ years ago. His peripheral stats were significantly better with way more stocks and more than double the rebounds. While Tre was a better shooter, Beal had his bases covered for all of the concerns I have about Tre. He is quantifiably better only if you don't quantify everything.

Long video of all Beringer plays (makes and misses).

He actually has surprisingly good footwork and I think his jumper has potential.

At 6:39 he has a slow step Euro in transition that's extremely Giannis.

Video is split up into sections:

0:14 Shot Attempts
34:26 Rebounds
55:15 Defense

Back half of the video looks to be all defense. Someone can correct if I missed a section or 2.

His offensive footwork looks good (if a bit awkward on occasion) even if the finish is sometimes suspect. I like the willingness to try some of those moves.
Would like to think that it will look smoother and that he will finish better with more experience.
