Following Potential 2025 Draftees

How about comparing him to someone like Troy Murphy. Kevin Love was an elite rebounder and scorer from the mid-post and in. At his absolute peak, Kevin Love might have been a top-5 MVP candidate.

Edit: I looked it up, and Kevin Love was #6 in MVP voting in 2012 when he averaged 26/13/2.
Because i was comparing playing style. Dip and drives, shooting the 3, playing d, there weren't any highlights about rebounding. I said love was wide. The helps with rebounding but the passing was similar also.

If you look at the Celtics, they have multiple players who can make decisions with the ball, shoot well enough to space the floor, and also be plus-defenders. Jrue Holiday and Derrick White aren't super explosive or high scorers themselves, but they are perfect complements to the Celtics' wing scorers. I think the Jazz want to install a similar system, and Jakucionis should be the type of player who could work in a system like that.

It's a reason why the Jazz would unload a player like Ochai Agbaji, since he wasn't much of a ball handler or decision-maker, and his shooting was iffy to boot.
Yeah, what the Celtics have accomplished and the problems they cause for other teams were central to this guy's argument.

Drake Powell fits this mold somewhat. Good defender with some on-ball creation and adequate shooting percentages.
he disappears in so many games. just does nothing. not much on-ball creation at all. if the game or his teammates don't create opportunities, he just really doesn't do anything. he's just out there. there is a reason he only averages 7 ppg.

cody williams last couple months of his college season ptsd. i do think powell has potential (and definitely looks the part), but man, do something out there.

Okoro 2.0

Okoro 2.0 would be a steal with the MIN pick. Haven’t watched Powell yet though.

On paper, Carter Bryant is a much better prospect imo.

This is Trey Murphy in his fourth year. Anyone think Ace Bailey should be able to do these things in 4 years? Seems reasonable to me. Trey was considered a limited handler and driver coming into the league.

Ace can do some of these things right now. He's not necessarily my type of prospect, but he is legitimately good at creating his own shot in the midrange and making them at a high clip. I also think Trey Murphy is a decent comparison (Ace is going to be heavier but less mobile IMO). The part that I'm less sure about is his general 3 point shooting. Trey Murphy came into the league as a good shooter, that's what he was drafted for. Trey would still be a very good player if he didn't develop the shot creation stuff, I don't think the same could be said for Ace. He's further ahead in the shot making aspects, but his game outside of that needs work. Ace's shooting is still somewhat suspect (though it has really picked up lately).
