Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Tre is better at creating his own shot (behind the arc), but Kon is probably a better prospect in all other aspects.

Oh and he officially declared for the draft.

Also Beringer claims he is 6'11 without shoes in the article. DX says his wingspan is 7'5. That puts him a good deal bigger than his most common comp, Daniel Gafford. 2nd youngest player in the draft. Going to grow into his frame well.

At 10:50 Beringer has to take a contested mid-rage C&S off shot clock pressure. Actually gets it off cleanly and it doesnt look bad. He misses, but it's probably the best look at his mechanics under pressure I've seen.

At 11:00 is a good example of the footwork I'm surprised he has. That's a pretty high level post move and super savvy in that situation for an 18 year old "raw" player.

Nothing new here on Tre Johnson, but I have to admit, seeing it all together makes me slightly lower on him:

I'm sold. I love his ability to create his own space, something the Jazz don't have right now, and I love his ability to score all over the floor. He also plays at full speed. He'll be the perfect complement to whomever the Jazz get next year with another top 5-7 pick.

I just don't think I can get on board with the Jazz taking someone who projects to be at best, "passable" on defense.

You're getting the Devin Booker, Brad Beal, Khris Middleton archetype. Passable defense is what you get in return for a weapon scorer. The Jazz don't have this level of talent on their roster. Tre should put up some 35-pt nights. But I get it, defensive potential is why most people have Ace Bailey rated higher.
