I've had him at 3 for a couple months now, lol. I really like him and have seen quite a few of his games live as well as watched most of what's out there.

I think there are turnovers you don't worry about and one that you do. Like I said about half of his turnovers are not concerning at all, but about half are cause for concern

You’re looking for the wrong things.

He’s hyper athletic, doesn't need a runway to get to full speed, makes quick decisions, doesn't overdribble, goes hard to the basket, moves without the ball, always has his head up, never gives up on plays, has a low dribble in traffic, can shoot but doesn't force it or take bad shots, doesn't run his mouth or sulk when things don't go his way.

In other words, he already has a great skills package for the NBA. I don't give a **** about Baylor, that was a terrible team and half the time VJ looked like he didn't understand how he was supposed to play their brand of chaotic streetball.

No he's not perfect. His dribble is still loose, and like many athletic kids who can ”hang in the air” when driving, VJ tends to do it too much and gets into trouble when his options disappear while he's airborne. But these are small things.

In the game I watched he couldn’t get to the hoop becau They pressured him everytime he got the ball and he couldn’t do anything with it. I just don’t see star potential and we need that.

I think the Jazz have to take him if he's available at #21, especially if the Jazz have lost confidence in Cody. Noa's combination of length, plus defensive reactions give him a solid floor, and his shooting, passing and play finishing give him a high ceiling. He's got a chance to be a Swiss army knife and defensive disruptor. He just doesn't have change-of-speed or change-of-direction with the ball right now.

Demin is intriguing but from what he has shown this season, he doesn't have enough to be the primary creator. Bad at shooting and bad at driving to the rim. There were moments where I saw him Ben Simmons'ing layups. I don't know if the guy has any scoring instinct. The passing vision is special but unfortunately, I don't think he has what it takes to push it further.

you may be right - though i don't think you are. but if you are right he doesn't develop those things he won't make it in the league. he's a lead guard. period. that's what he is, it's what he's always been and it's what NBA teams are drafting and developing.

Point blank: unless he can spread the floor or anchor a defense he will not last in the NBA.

If he can do either he probably will last. If he can do both he might be a star. I like him but his shooting is suspect.

It’s good his shooting is recently looking okay. And he’s especially young which is nice. I don’t know if I can get there depending on who else is left on the board.
