5 + 21 + The Laker's top 4 protected 1st for #2. Hopefully we could keep 21 but I doubt it5 + 21 + two firsts? That would be an overpay. I’d still do it.

I was just answering the question.I love where your head is and love Fleming, but he is like 2.5 years older than Essengue. That's important to note in that comparison.
It came from him directly in the article. If that's true it sounds like he's hoping not to go to SA
This.
I would just echo what Cy said, and thats that he would be coming on to one of the worst teams in the league if we drafted him and there certainly would be a carve out to get him minutes. Also, he's barely 18 playing in a grown mans league right now. I think you're underselling even his current production at a higher level. He is playable on a bad Jazz team this coming season, IMO.I just got done watching film where he was repeatedly getting bumped off his spot and at times by small Eurpoean guards. Saying he is unplayable was maybe the wrong words, but to act like his strength isn't going to be an issue for a bit is not realistic either. It would be easier for him to be on the court if his skill level was higher, but he's got a ways to go there as well.
I love his potential, and can see the vision, but it feels like there have been other guys like him that don't end up doing much in the league because the skill and or strength never develop as needed.

I’m not trading Lauri 5 and 21 for Harper. 21 and Lauri should be enough.
I don't disagree with that at all, and even clarified in a different post something similar.I would just echo what Cy said, and thats that he would be coming on to one of the worst teams in the league if we drafted him and there certainly would be a carve out to get him minutes. But it would be a longer burn with him for sure. That's why his age is such a positive.
