I feel the same way, but I'll admit, that if I was a GM making this decision I would have a very hard time picking Kas over Tre/Ace/VJ. I talk a big talk, but when it comes down to it I would be scared and probably go with the consensus
Washington 6 and 18 for 5Kas is much worse than the guys in the Jazz's tier so I don't support this (Kas basically has no shot creation unless he's hitting wild step back threes, his tools are bad), but I also don't know what stuff the Jazz would even want from these other teams.
Maybe 10 and Reed Sheppard for 5 if VJ Edgecombe is still on the board?
OKC would obviously love to trade up to 5 if VJ Edgecombe is on the board. 15 and Topic and a little more for 5?
Here is my new 2025 NBA Draft Lottery Big Board with player comps (that nobody asked for)

Player comps/shades of are not career trajectory and most would be higher end outcomes. They are guys that I think play similar. Feel free to tell me what you like or tell me that I suck!
Tre at 3 and Maluach at 14 are my biggest zags I would say. A lot of people have CMB, Essengue, and Maluach inside their top-5.My only criticism, way too consensus. Show us how you really feel!

Thank god you aren't in the FOI really think Kas deserves to be in this group we're discussing at #5 and I'd probably have him leading that group, but I just got to look away so I'm not disappointed.
Most people hated it when I suggested it on X but trade down and get the guy you want while getting more stuff is an option.
If you really believe the so-and-so is THE guy but that there's a very good likelihood he'll be there when your turn comes, why wouldn't you trade down? The only reason I can think of is the risk he's drafted before your turn is unacceptably high. Most people hated it when I suggested it on X but trade down and get the guy you want while getting more stuff is an option.
