Following Potential 2026 Draftees

What a top-7 pick gets you:
  1. Dybantsa
  2. Peterson
  3. Boozer
  4. Ament
  5. Cenac
  6. Yessoufou
  7. Lopez
Considering the Jazz's pick is top-8 protected, this is the focus in all likelihood.

This is a great topic, and I’ve been looking into some of these 2026 prospects as well. It's wild how much early hype some of these guys are already getting.

I’ve been hearing a lot about players like Bronny James and Matas Buzelis. Bronny’s game has been improving steadily, and while the pressure around him is huge, he’s shown that he can handle it well. If he continues to develop his game, he could definitely be a solid addition for any team in a few years.

Matas Buzelis is another name I’ve been keeping an eye on. His versatility is insane—he can play multiple positions, and his skill set is way ahead of his age. I feel like he’s one of those guys who could rise up draft boards quickly once more people get eyes on him in a more competitive environment.

It’s interesting to think about how the 2026 draft will shape up because it’s so far away, but these names are already standing out. The fact that some of these guys have already been playing at high levels is going to make the scouting process so much more intense.

Looking forward to seeing how these players develop over the next few years. Who are you all keeping an eye on for 2026?

If we get flagg I hope we either commit to the tank early or go all in on someone like booker. I’d hate to waffle on a direction and miss out on this feast of talent.

I wasn't sure why someone would be medically induced in to a coma, but found this via google:

"A medically induced coma renders a person reversibly unconscious on anesthetic sedatives in an attempt to minimize damage, trauma, and pain. It is mostly used as a last resort in ICU and emergency wards to treat patients with traumatic brain injury, prolonged seizures, or after cardiac arrest."

I'm guessing in this instance it was used because of brain trauma, but I'm just guessing. Really really sad.
