Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Sounds like Kentucky is closing in on Wesley Yates. Seems like they are becoming a transfer portal school.

Having extra picks in 2025/2027 and then not in 2026 kinda sucks as of right now. Hopefully we make some deals and get an extra pick for next year.

I think the easiest/most effective way to compensate is to be terrible to the same degree again next year. Flagg or not. If there’s really four serious blue chips right off the bat then you can’t tank better than that. Maybe we can squeeze one 2026 pick out of someone for Lauri alongside some redrafts and bad salary.

That being said, this draft was supposed to be that top-heavy and it didn’t quite live up to the hype.

I’m pretty burned out on tanking. But for the millionth time, I’d much rather do it right than do the half-*** ****. At least for one more year.

This is definitely an overreaction and it won’t matter if he’s great, but if we hit on #1 for 2026 I hope someone besides AJ rises to the top. He is a kid, but for some reason my feeds are being flooded with his childish and annoying attitude. Clips are clips, but he does not seem like someone I would love to root for if he wasn’t great.

I have heard that some people have Peterson higher than AJ. There is always Boozer too.
