Following Potential 2026 Draftees

First of all, you can have both. Keyonte is already moving off the ball for Isaiah Collier and WCJ with the bench units, and he's thriving playing off the catch. Having him share possessions with Brown won't hold him back. It'll free him up.

Second of all, Brown is probably BPA once you get to 6 or 7 in this draft. And as much as I like Keyonte and liked him as a prospect, Brown is a higher-level prospect at the same stage.
If Brown is really the clear BPA at the draft position I cant be too mad, but I highly doubt he will be. I'd take Flemings 10/10 times over Brown as a basketball player and as a fit next to Keyonte.

Even when he looked good it was hard to really see him as a serious NBA prospect because all he can really do is shoot.
He's added to his game quite a bit this year. I was his number one hater last year, but he's diving/passing/defending way more than I ever saw him try last year. Probably still not close to good enough, but I've noticed a big difference

Ill take your word for it, but I havent really noticed much of that this year and think it's more just because Duke's perimeter players arent good and someone has to do something.

My initial impression of the 5-8 range is that these prospects are as good or better than the 3-7 range last year.

I somewhat agree. I think you could probably say that Ament is in the same tier as Ace was last year. They play differently and it's not a direct comparison, but in terms of tier based on their early play as freshmen they might be comparable.

Last year, both Kon and Tre Johnson were knockdown shooters, and I'm not sure if this draft has that level of shooting in the top 10. Maybe Stirtz and Flemings do if they keep it up and move up draft boards.

Cameron Carr is the shooter this year, but yeah, no one is on Kon's level this year as a shooter.
