I now like Talen Horton-Tucker for the Jazz more than Rui Hachimura.

I think the Jazz are going to like Nickeil Alexander-Walker. He probably is off the board when the Jazz pick, but he also might be worth moving up a bit for. The kid can play either guard spot and can likely defend 3 positions.

Probably not the best value, Rui is a solid prospect, BUT!
This allows for Utah to slot more scoring into the PG slot tho. Thats really the upgrade, and it would be felt, if they can get the right PG('s)_
Tucker has excellent vision passing the ball and he can put the ball on the floor, he's got these long arms and huge hands which allows him to create some nifty passing angles, AND he's SUPER young but built like a house, and it was glaringly obvious in the Houston series that they could use more toughness.
Tucker too is a winning player, he plays winning basketball. I hope for his sake he lands somewhere thats a perfect match because he brings very interesting skillset to todays NBA game.

Syrvidas is legit tho that kid will definitely get drafted if he stays in, excellent shooter.

Gotta say It was pretty cool seeing Kevon Looney crush the Rockets in game 5 and 6...
If you look back years ago u will certainly find I was the biggest advocate for Looney in these threads and then when he finally got drafted all the way at the bottom of the 1st I said it was ridiculous and these teams will rue the day they passed on Looney and let him fall to GSW.
Rockets took Dekker, they coulda had him.
I used to say to everyone back then that the Spurs were dumb for taking Milutinov too, that was an obscene pick with Montrezl Harrell still on the board too looking back. Ouch.

I watched him against Frankie at some FIBA Euro tournament several years ago. He was solid but Ntilikina was better on both ends. I guess he was several years younger so it's understandable... I haven't watched him since. WIll have to take a look if he starts getting legit draftable hype.

I think he's the third or fourth ranked player out of Donic birth year class.
Another kid I'm keeping an eye on is Luc Van Slooten. He's young and there's very little video of him, but I saw one where he looked light years ahead of the other kids

I love how Jimmer overshadowed Kawhi and Dame while in college and that people in Utah still talk about him. That’s so dope
ESPN's is pretty good. CBS Sports is decent. I check in on NBAdraftroom.com and some others.

This time of year they are all **** tbh. DX gained prominence as the most accurate by way of their machinations(quick revisions, sometimes completely based in hearsay/misdirection...) in the days leading up to the draft, thru the rumor mill relating to individual workouts and interviews and the combine and now they are united with Woj, so it's all done in the shadows, too much effort and $$$ put into it for it to be anyother way --- also the leaks of this type of info would be disastrous(would beget the question; why do we pay all these ppl the big bucks?), so it's need-to-know...To think that even their list right now is decent compared to where they will be in months is a really bad bet..
for example this time of year they HATED on Zach LaVine and Terry Rozier, but by the time their info got around, they ate their words, and reneged for the sake of accuracy... their list right now is more personal feelings rather than their personal feelings on who is gonna fall where, based on the info they've heard -- ya dig?
or are you asking the question more generally, as in what are the characteristics of a good mock draft? because I'll take a stab at that as well; Given the time of year, a good mock draft is one that has a few solid picks over the consensus that turn out good, and a few guys redflagged under consensus that turn out to be warranted concern, and i stress few, because anyone who claims to have a solid grasp at this point is almost certainly full of ****.
The new rules which allow players to pull their names out of the draft a week prior throws a major wrench into accuracy at this stage. It's really more like this than it's ever been. What was once a more evenly spread draft process, a lot of things to us the outsider, are really crammed into that week or 2 leading up to the draft.
