I did. You are insinuating that Hayward would be better on the Rockets and I am insinuating that Hayward should have put up better numbers on a crappy team. I certainly think Parsons could do better on the Jazz than Hayward on the Rockets because I don't think Hayward would be getting as many opportunities. I certainly don't think Hayward would go from .403 to .472 shooting just because he moved to the Rockets.

And yet Hayward went from a 42% 3pt shooter to shooting 30% once he became the man. Would the jazz even let Parsons be the man?

With all the money being thrown around at small forwards it looks like Andre Kiriklinko might have made a mistake opting in to his last year with the nets for 3.3 million.

Seems like every decision AK47 has made since he left the Jazz has been a mistake. Russia over the NBA. Signing with Minnesota. Opting out to take less with New Jersey. Opting in for his second year there.

There is money being thrown around to good SF's. Andrei would get a small exception, at best.

I don't necessarily disagree, but I just think that last year was a bad year to test the market, and this year is a bad year to not test the market. He'd have been better off opting into his 2nd year in Minnesota last year and then try his luck as a free agent this offseason.

Jody Genessy: Jazz now own six second-round picks in 2016 and '17. In 2016: Utah gets better of BOS/TOR via MEM; GSW; own. 2017: GSW; Knicks via TOR; own
Wow...

It’s official. Gordon Hayward signed his offer sheet with the Charlotte Hornets, the team announced early Thursday morning, just hours after the NBA’s moratorium had lifted. The Utah Jazz will now have three days (until 9:59 p.m. MT on Sunday) to match the four-year, $63 million offer for the restricted free agent. Salt Lake Tribune -

They must mean saturday. Because if he signed at 9:59 pm MT on Wednesday, 3 days later is the same time on Saturday.
