Game #1: Jazz vs Mavericks, 10/31/12 - 7:00 PM MST - Root Sports, 1280 AM/97.5 FM

Darren Collison looked ****ing good today. Made me stress over the fact that maybe we should have gone after him, and not Smokin' Mo. Mo is probably the better-fit for an Al-centered offense; regardless, tomorrow will be an exciting game to watch.

As I've said over and over, we should have snagged him. Period. Mo, too.

We didn't have Ian Mahinmi to SnT.

Dallas' head is too large to offer Collison any extension he earns this season. They think they have a shot at Chris Paula, just like they thought D-Will would come begging. They might hold out and put Collison on the market.

I would prefer to drink red stagg but it only comes in 5th's. (no pints)

Plus SoCo pints come in plastic containers (instead of glass) which makes them easier to conceal due to thier flexibility. (have to be able to sneak into arena)

So does Malibu rum and Midori, but I'm not risking heart burn. Pour it out and put the Stag in.

That's a big if. I'm listening to Locke's Tip Off and he spent a few minutes talking about how Collison has just killed us.

Because he can get into the lane and shoot his tear drop. Jazz have an app for that-- Jeremy Evans' Elbow. Here's a shot of SoCo to Evans welcoming Jae Crowder to Swat Lake City.

Never gets old.

While I like to talk big, I'm still nervous about the Mavs tonight.
I'm still 50/50 on this one.

Someone, pass me some Koolaid!

Yeah, no Mahinmi to S&T, so no possible deal. You've had some real wizard responses to my posts lately.

I shurrr hope Mahinmi puts them over the top! I know I, like everyone else, think Indy got the better of Dallas on that trade. We certainly couldn't have made a better package or been a part of a three-team trade. ****, i cant remember the last time we struck a deal with Dallas, so just delete this post. Kbye.

The arena is ready.

Just looked into it. Bookmark or Favorite the actually launched League Pass. Towards the bottom of the screen their is an option to hide scores, it should be automatically selected. Just don't go to NBA.com to launch the player, because you might see the scores on the top of the page.

Anybody know about the download vs streaming issue?

Well Mo is probably our best defensive PG in a long time..... Maybe only Price would be considered equal or better in that aspect!!
Price, Hart, Fisher, Deron were all equal to or better than. Debatably even Knight.

Somewhere Numberica is jizzing himself with "I Told You So's" about Jae Crowder.

I was prepared for that. The guy knows how to play basketball, period. I had 0 doubts he'd force his way onto the floor and make things happen.

We'll see how this plays out, but I'm frankly bitter the Jazz didn't find a way to get him. Again, especially since the Jazz were the facilitator for a team that saved a lot of money in a big free agency year and cleared a glut for another. Mo Williams is nice, but he costs money, too, and the Jazz should've gotten a bone thrown at them like a 2nd round pick from a team that had, what, 4 of them?

Anyway, I told you so. Would've been perfect to have as Millsap insurance, or just a rad SF.

Dude was running the pick and roll pretty well with Varejao, but Andy did a good job finding the open man when help came. Kyrie's not a traditional point guard, perhaps, but he controls the pace and tenor of the game pretty well, and does a really good job putting the ball in the basket.

Besides that he's playing with a bunch of chumps.
