Game 3 Houston @ home who's going

Our only chance to win is at home this year. (41 games - 2 lost already)

Maybe get a handful on the road.

We are looking at a 20-62 year.

I'm enjoying these games. We are building, and developing every night. Favors boarding, blocking. Kanter hitting shots, and all over the offensive glass that first half.

Gobert disgusted some of you, but I love watching him. That spin move, and almost score was a thing of almost beauty ;-)
He also played some good defense, made some mistakes, but that's expected. I want him to still get time.
He'll get it much faster out there, than on the bench.

just saw the game

1st half was amazing, you can see how much talent and depth this team have

2nd half was painful to watch, but it just shows how inexperienced this team is + no bench (lindsay's tank master plan)

core + allstar 1st rounder + solid free agent and this team will be very good

Along with some role players who can drain a 3. We still don't seem to have figgered out how important that is.

Coach Ty calls one timeout in the 3rd Q while watching a 16 point lead evaporate while his team looks completely lost. Tank on.

We just need some shooters.
Pretty much. The Jazz are just under league average on 2-point field goal percentage. They've been terrible from 3 and poor from the line.

The 4 Jazz players who've taken (almost?) all the minutes at the 4 and 5, Kanter, Favors, Gobert and Harris, are shooting 75% from the line (27/36). Everyone else are a combined 31/48 (.646).

Jazz shooting under 25% from 3 so far...

yea, that garcia guy was killing us at some point

They made 7 or 8 threes in the second half that really helped them to rally. Jazz made 1.

Seems like other teams also get a lot of guys set out at the 3 point line who can get off a really good effort. Jazz guys rarely look that set out beyond the 3. That and we still give up a lot of corner 3s, too many.

Jazz 3-pt defense has been well above average (in terms of # given up and percentage) so far this season. Jazz 3-pt defense has been pretty decent under Ty overall.

Disagree. The stats may show that but it is only 3 games. I have seen other teams get a whole lot of corner 3s. Not good. Over a season they will make them. Jazz defense still operates in a way that gives that shot up time and again.

The problem is that you're comparing what other teams do to what the Jazz do. Most teams are susceptible to the corner 3. The Jazz under Ty have been pretty average at defending the 3, despite having a poor overall defense (with weak interior D, guards have to play further off their men).
