What's new

Game #4 - Utah Jazz @ Memphis Grizzlies

I'm starting to wonder if the Jazz might be a "too many cooks" type of team. Blah blah blah no such thing as too much talent, I know, but it seems as if people are being repressed right now.

My bold prediction:

Jefferson, Foye and Tinsley play too much, Favors and Kanter too little.
Alec gets his 3rd "DNP-Coach's (Moronic) Decision."
Jazz lose by 8 as they can't stop anyone down the stretch.

See, I told you it was going to be a "bold" prediction. Now for some "colorful" language:

FREE ALEC BURKS!

Plenty I'd like to see changed but this team can be a monster if they get it together. I believe they will.

TIme to show the Grizzlies who really has the best frontcourt!

If you mean "cooks" in the sense that all are worthy of starring in your local Denny's, then yes. The team lacks a chef and sous-chef, guys who can create a beautiful and appetizing product. And the guy telling the "cooks" what to do is clueless. He can teach them to fry up a grand slam or country-fried "steak," but we'll never mistake the end result for exactly what it is - inferior product foisted off on those willing to settle for it.

I think you're right. The "greater than the sum of our parts" thing doesn't look like its materializing. What's the solution... letting all the FAs walk away for nothing? Better make a trade or two

David Locke is promising the Burks will play tonight! JK about the promising part.

No promise but I would suspect that we see the Foye-Burks backcourt tonight for the Jazz at some point - matches well to Bayless for Memphis

I never believe Locke. What this tells me is ... absolutely nothing.

I have relied on him one too many times, now I treat him as the boy who cried wolf.
