Because Snyder is not as great of a coach as everyone makes him out to be. I'll take Exum's turnovers and offense over O'neale in these situations any day.
 
Basically a 7 man rotation tonight. Really wish DL would’ve gone after one more wing/guard who could contribute in a game like tonight. Carroll, Belinelli, DWade or even Brewer all would have been big help off the bench.

Lack of high quality depth was an issue. Mitchell/Jingles 40+ minutes. Rubio and Crowder both 36+ minutes. Rudy and Favors in foul trouble.
 
The sad thing is that we all know Russell Westbrook is not this good. Not even remotely. The Jazz just made him look like a superstar tonight. It's all psychological, really. You could see after he hit those two threes with the Jazz up 25 that our entire team just got scared *****ess and started believing Westbrook was Michael freaking Jordan. I honestly can't remember a single shot he took in the last quarter and a half that had anyone on the Jazz bothering to put a hand in his face.
 
Meh their heroes heroed. It took 2 severely out of the ordinary games from 2 all stars to turn it around. At the same time we got complacent, stopped playing our game, had both of our bigs in foul trouble...and we were still within striking distance at the end. A strong lesson for our young Cinderella team. I think we close this sucker out solidly on Friday.
 
Sucks that we wasted a 'Jae' game. Still, I feel good about us finishing this off in six. Just sucked *** to watch such an epic collapse like that.

Yeah, I didn't even realize Dante never came in. Did Jonas even play in the second half? As they used to say in the olden days, you've got six fouls, use a few! ;)

Losing this game doesn't bother me at all, but to let a lead this big slip away is embarrassing. This plays right into Houston's hands, assuming the Jazz can take care of business.
 
Very hard to win four in a row. I didn't expect the Jazz to win tonight. So, I shouldn't care, right?

Well...

The last two series the Jazz lost game five, against Houston in 2008 and Denver in 2010, they were just completely out-classed from start to finish. Were the losses demoralizing? Eh. Maybe. But it was clear the Jazz were going through the motions and trying to get the game back to Salt Lake.

This game, though, is different. The Jazz gave away so much momentum - way more momentum than I think you could steal from just blowing a team out in a must-win game (happens all the time, frankly). These are the losses that hang over you. And that's what I'm afraid of heading into game six. Bad, bad, bad, horrific loss. It's easier to accept a blowout solely because there was nothing there to play for after a certain period of time. The fact the Jazz held a 25 point second half lead and blew it ... I really hope this isn't a loss that haunts the franchise for a long time.
 
The Jazz started feeling themselves too much. Started getting cocky and they relaxed. They thought it was too easy.

I think that even after the 4th foul with Rudy they should have gambled and left him out there to try and protect that lead. Hindsight 20/20, but it should have been considered. You are up huge and have momentum of your own. If you get through the 3rd quarter still up 25 and Rudy fouls out by the end of the 3rd, I think that feels different to OKC and they probably cant make that run in the 4th.
