All the kings or whatever their titles were laughed at the idea of democracy as proposed by Sam and then were cool with mute Bran being King and Tyrion announcing King's sons (family) being the next in line no longer a thing and it rather being one who's appointed. Lmao.

Not sure how i feel about the stylised domestic violence...

Still trying to digest the episode, didn't hate it as much as i thought I would.
 
They had a few months to write a season of the show, Martin takes years, and in some cases it seems he might take decades to write this stuff.
He is incredibly meticulous. There are rumors he isn't able to carry all the threads forward effectively which is why we haven't seen the final book yet. There are also rumors the manuscript he is working on is so huge it will be split into 2 or even 3 books.


Of course there are rumors he gave up and simply isn't even working on it and will never finish it.
