I suggest everyone that read the books to read Leigh Butler's a read of ice and fire. It's pretty awesome. She summarizes the chapters as she reads them and writes a commentary for each chapter. Commentaries are quite insightful and it's fascinating to see the books from someone's eye who didn't read the books.

Also, book 4 is REALLY dragging for me. Ugh. It feels like I am just wading through tons of heavy dialogue just to catch me up what is happening in other parts of the kingdom while my favorite characters are getting killed off. He may as well start his chapters off with things like "Meanwhile...in Dorne" or whatever.

Book 4 sucks
 
I thought that episode was kind of boring.

Mance reminds me of William Wallace from Braveheart. Never bend the knee. FREEEEEDDDOOOMMMM
 
So did the website go down? Seems Ok so far. Does this bring the epicness of the episode into question?
 
The man-on-man action was indeed quite extended, and no boobs except for the hooker with the unsullied guy at the beginning.

Still, I felt it was a pretty good episode. Not the best they've ever done, but certainly not bad. The show's burden has always been that there are way more storylines going on at once than in anything else on television. I thought they juggled it all pretty nicely.

Was Varys that upfront about his allegiance to Daenerys in the books? It's been quite a while since I've read them, but I recall him being much more guarded about it.
