What's new

Game Of Thrones

It's not even that a character like Sam lived, it's that he lived serving 0 purpose. He was constantly in "I should die within seconds" positions. Just write him in the crypt so he can be on Tyrion's level of believable survivability.

Melisandre was as Main of a character or bigger than Sam too.

I think you mean you just wish others died too.

Having more deaths would have been more realistic.

Sam, Hound, Podric, Tormund and Vyserus (or how ever you spell his ****ing name) and Greyworm would all have been good choices.

Melisandre was a character we all knew was going to die and there is no real emotional connection to. She isn't a beloved character or someone you root for. Most wanted her to die.

So is it beloved characters or main chacharact? Mormont was very likable.

Poderick could have died, same with Gentry. I don't recall seeing them after the battle started.

It was dumb writing though. I get you want to paint a picture that they're ****ed and no way going to win, but they over did it. Like you said, the parts where dead guys tackle you and jump on you in masses in one scene, then later you're still ok. Lazy and dumb. They tried too hard.

Characters who the show has followed every step through their journey and has invested time into making them personable. Not side characters or memes (Lady Mormont is a meme).

So Theon and Jorah?

One could say, "Theon finally got the love he always needed from Sansa and Bran. He was forgiven and embraced. He died a hero’s death and earned the admiration he always yearned for. As Bran said. He was a good man."

If that’s your criteria than Lyanna’s death is right up there with anyone. Also lots of emotion tied up in Theon an

Podrick is shown multiple times. He ends up next to Brienne and Jaime against that wall with the dead pushing up on them.

She reminds me of Trout's kids kinda.

I'm going to have to rewatch it. A lot going on and my dogs were being lil assholes. Apparently, I missed some stuff.

Yes, Theon's character arc was finally completed, but it should have happened a while ago so no one really gave a **** about him anymore and mostly just found him annoying.

I'll give it to Jorah.
