I'm guessing they didn't want to spoil the fact that the Night King (lol, I've been calling him the Knight King, derp) can't be killed by dragon fire.

I will say, even though it was really arya-ex-machina, having Arya kill the night king was a really cool moment.

My biggest complaint is that we never really got to understand what the Knight King wanted, or why he wanted it. Was he really just a two-dimensional ultra villain?

How was he supposed to help the Children of the Forest? Wouldn't he have killed all of them, too? Why did they make him?

And we still didn't get a very good explanation of the body-part art the Knight King was so fond of.

This is where I'm sure we'll get better info if the books ever get finished. But that was very disappointing, I agree.

Makes me think of snoke in the new Star wars movies. Here's this cool mysterious ultra-powerful villain and...psych! He's dead! Haha.

Despite some very illogical moments - which you guys already correctly pointed out this episode delivered what was expected. It was intense. Few of my female friends watching shed few tears.
And **** the script leaks - they were way way off!

And why did the dragons either just fly around or sit in the wall instead of actively incinerating the dead. Especially after the trench was lit and the army of the dead was just standing there.

Yeah that point right after the trench was lit you could have come from behind them and decimated them.

The whole use of the dragons in this episode was a pretty big letdown. A few fun scenes of them torching the wights, but to no major effect. When they were dog-fighting the ice dragon I didn't see them use fire once. WTF?

You theys act like you know all about Dragons just because you seen a few episodes of GOT.

How do you know how much fire a dragon can even spit for any given period of time. Maybe the dragon needs to work up some more fire after he blows his few loads. You dont know. I think we have to be realistic.

No one died. That's my complaint. They aren't going to have main plot characters die off screen. Sam isn't going to live being a fat **** on the bottom of an undead dogpile, but somehow he did.

The point of the Dothraki not being shown was to build tension for the rest of the characters because they are useless fodder.
