From the SLTrib:
"He can make you foul him," Jazz coach Quin Snyder said.
Harden always has been known for his ability to get to the line, but he's getting more calls this year than ever before in his career. The Beard draws the second-most personal fouls of any player in the league, an average of 6.9 a game. Only Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins (8.9) hears more whistles, according to NBA.com
"A lot of times you'll foul him when you feel like he's got an advantage and he's got the play," Snyder said. "Sometimes it comes from frustration because he's so good. Sometimes he'll just draw them and put you in a position where you're off-balance and reaching. Those are the ones you can't have."
Harden is the league's second-leading scorer, at 28.6 points per game. His work from the line is a huge part of that. Harden attempts more than 10 free throws a game, knocking them down at an 87-percent clip. In three contests against the Jazz this season, Harden has attempted 29 freebies.
