I'm a long time lurker, but this thread finally compelled me to post.

It is disturbing to see an extremely racist and offensive caricature of Tyrone Corbin posted in this thread—and disappointing to see a moderator reply without comment on it. As Jazz fans, we should be better than this.

For those unaware of the history of the symbols used in that cartoon and their associations with racism, you can refer to Ethnic Notions, an excellent film on the topic that I've linked to here.

I've also linked specific information to several of the more obvious stereotypes this cartoon draws upon.

There is no place for racial stereotypes such as these on a basketball forum. The image and its associated posts should be taken down.

Completely agreed.

I usually appreciate trollololoo'z work and I usually enjoy stereotypical and racist jokes that are not on mine (!), but this one is not even funny. I'm sorry, I don't comment about bad jokes generally but since this offended someone, I felt like I should post.
