What's new

Game thread: jazz play a game in a couple of hours, the Timberpups edition.

Favors has to step his game up without Burks. Someone besides Hayward has to approach consistency.

I was pissed off for a long time about the Jazz taking Hayward over Paul George. I couldn't be happier now with how things turned out.

I cursed and was pissed as hell when we drafted Hayward. I think I wanted like Ed Davis or something after I had played ESPN's draft machine a few times. These scouts have such a tough job trying to pick out who will be better (see Burks and Thompson, Hayward and George, D. Will and Paul).

We can laugh now, but if the T'wolves add Towns or Okafior to Wiggins, we might be regretting it for a long time.

Jazz are now tied with the Pacers for 7th/8th in the lottery, dangerously close to 9th or 10th.

The good news is that Trey Burke may slowly be accumulating some trade value.

He's a very good player but see we're not winning a title with GH as our #1 option. Now don't take it personal but sometimes I think if you're his mom.

I just hope we draft well. It seems like there's always a good player to be had in the 10 - 20 range. (Klay, Kawhi, PG, Hayward, etc.)

In order for the Jazz to be a better team, they need a player to surpass Hayward as a #1 option. That probably has to be done at the top of the lottery.

We have 3 bigs who are good, but not great.

Remember that Gordon was that New York Knicks pick that we obsessed about for years. Really turned out well for us.
