Favors sits. Jefferson gets > mins than Burks. Jazz lose. = Good for Tank.
Burks plays more minutes. Hayward shoots less. Jazz win. = Bad for Tank.

Just leave Corbin alone. He's doing a great job driving this tank.

I'm cool with that.

"Jeffersuck" does a pretty good job at spacing the floor for the players we want to do good. He makes passes, makes plays, does stuff on the court that helps the whole team's development.

aslong as jeffersuck is starting he is in direct competition with burks.

because core 5 SHOULD start

that means jefferson is taking away burks starting spot

and marvin williams is taking away Kanters starting spot


so YEAH THEY ARE IN COMPETITION!

I actually agree with you on this post
problems is that another thing that he does is reduce Burks minutes. Burks starts to struggle and corbin is quick to go to his safety valve.... the reliable old vet. (like tonight in the first half when jeffy played 13 minutes and burks got 11)

Honestly think a lot of that was Corbin being scared of Hayward/Burks having to guard JJ. Both players are too weak to play JJ in the post.

Which is the weirdest **** about the Nets. They have a terrible, terrible offense. Honestly the worst in the NBA from a coaching standpoint, but they have big guards who can post up, so they create problems.
 
Was at the game tonight with a buddy. Alec is clearly the most talented player on this team. Time to give him the reigns.

As for dong stuff on the court that helps everyone else.......... burks with 3 assists.... jeffy with 1. Burks with 6 rebounds........ jeffy with 2. Burks 100% from 3..... jeffy 75%
In basically the same minutes

Neither are great defenders but I think burks is even a bit better at defense than jeffy, is a better rebounder, better passer, better ball handler, better slasher, better at getting to the line, better finisher, better in transition, has more potential, will be around for longer.

Jefferson is the better 3 point shooter though so they should get equal minutes

Jefferson, josh howard, randy foye, cj miles, raja bell > burks

burks really really struggles against big physical players like Joe Johnson for sure. He does much better against quicker more finesse types.

To add to this, I get that floor spacing is important but when your starting lineup consists of marvin (floor spacer), jeffy (floor spacer), Hayward (floor spacer), trey (floor spacer) and favors (no threat and hardly used on offense) isn't it time to start a guy that can take advantage of that floor spacing? (alec burks)

I remember him doing quite well against Livingston.... One play in particular Livingston tried to post burks up and burks played great defense and randy was called for travelling.

Livingston played 40 minutes and was 3-7 btw
