There's gotta be some up and coming assistants in college or the NFL that are Mormon.
The chances of that are pretty much zero in the current BYU climate. At least, I assume it's similar to faculty hiring--and we've been told that basically the only way the administration will consider hiring a non LDS professor is if we can document that there are no qualified LDS candidates. And while there might not be any A+ rated LDS head coaching candidates, I'm sure there are SOME qualified LDS candidates.
That must be what I remembered. I believe it was posted on here somewhere. Or linked to it. I remember seeing it here that is why I said that.Colton, I remember there being a thread that some "sports site" that I really think was just a Y fan broke down the instate QB's and why Hill was the best instate QB (as far as why that was brought up that is my best guess).
However that reminds me of another preseason debate/trash talk which I thought strange personally. Which OC would have a bigger impact/help their team more. Guess the reason I found it strange is I remember many Y fans begging for Anae to be fired (or at least in the U vs Y threads I read) and when he was there was much rejoicing. Granted they quickly turned on Doman but I didn't expect them to embrace or re-embrace Anae so quickly.

Something else I wanted to bring up about some of Bronco's recent offensive hires/fires that I forgot in the last post: What's the average BYU fan's take on the fact that Doman and Dupaix got released from BYU and couldn't score another coaching gig? I don't know each individiual's story, but I doubt both elected to simply not coach anymore.
I find it extremely interesting that 2 guys who Bronco had tremendous faith in at one time went from employed at BYU to completely out of coaching in one step.
I just said some fans. That can be one...I guess. This guy actually wrote an article about it.Just because one fan expresses a bizarre opinion, please don't think that means that all of us share it!
That whole thing happened fairly late, IIRC. It may have just been that they were "let go" after most/all of the other vacancies they would be interested in were filled.
I also heard Doman is Bishop of his ward. If that's true, he might not have wanted to move. You almost never see current bishops move voluntarily.
lol at the BYU idiots getting on green for what he posted when you guys dished out much more than that before the game. You reap what you sow, and green has every right to say what he wants. In fact, he should be able to cram a big fat cow pie in your faces. In other words...eat ****.
Utah wins...what a surprise.
There is a clear cut top dog in the state, everything points to it, and that dog sits up on the hill in SLC.
lol.
