I don't know WHAT to make of this game.

BYU did not come out well against Virginia, but they did make a good showing in a number of ways against a lackluster Texas team. Hill is not a good passer but is creative and can run the ball. BYU's defense is tough, as always, but it's offense may have a hard time.

Utah's weakness is the secondary, no question. Utah defensively is much better against the run than against the pass. Offensively it looks like Poole has distanced himself as the RB, and Wilson is dangerous when he's not throwing interceptions. And Utah finally has a decent kicker again (who is a frosh, thankfully).

There's no deductive reasoning that will tell you who is going to win this game. So I'm just going to go with my heart, and say that I think (well, I hope) Utah wins it (again) in a close-scoring squeaker. I just don't think BYU's Spirit, Honor, Integrity, and Tradition will be enough to overcome. We're going to go into a two year gap with Utah having won 5 out of the last 6, 9 out of the last 12, and 14 out of the last 18.

And if Utah wins, and anybody gets on here and says "Utah didn't win, BYU lost" or "BYU was the better team" or "BYU won, the scoreboard just didn't reflect it".... oh good hell, just SHUT UP already. See the numbers in the previous paragraph.

Regardless, it will be a very good game. And may BYU be more concerned with playing a good game than they are with alligator rolls, personal fouls, chop blocks, and late hits for once.

I think the Utes need to add a man to the secondary and allow BYU to run a little. When they get close to the red zone the secondary won't be as easy to exploit and they can go back to a 4-3. Throw in some blitz and try to force some TOs. If the Utes can hold BYU to FGs instead of TDs they can win this game.

I definitely think the U could win this game. However there are 3 things that tell me they will not, first the efense against USU and OSU tells me they aren't good enough at getting key stops, consistent stops or force TO's, obviously the secondary has been getting the attention but the LB's at their best are invisible/non-factor, and minus Trevor and Orchard the Dline gets no pressure what so ever.
Second is the Oline, the only thing keeping them from getting more criticism is the horrible secondary play, USU and OSU manhandled them the majority of the time and they don't provide the same amount rush and pressure as the team they'll face this week.
Third is the bye-week nothing but time to prepare, scheme and plan for the U along with extra practices to add wrinkles and tricks in, if this game is somehow even close by some miracle that extra week will play huge dividends.

With all that said I will be as I am now wearing my Ute gear all week to show my support and fandom and hope they prove me wrong.

I pay my debts, pooh stain. I desperately needed a digital image of your companies logo or letterhead, and you refused to send me one. I paypal'd you $15.00 and said you could have the rest when you sent me a logo. (I know, I know -- that 15 seconds that it would take to email it to me was asking a lot.) You never sent it, so I kept your money. When you offered 20 bucks for a ride to and from the poker game, I was more than happy to oblige -- even though I knew you'd screw me over. You even said to me, "Shuddup! I'm not the non-payer guy!". Prior to this exchange, however, we agreed to go double-or-nothing on the $15.00 that I was holding in trust. Do you remember that when you payed me the half of the money that you owed me it was like 3 months after the bet and I had never even said anything about it?

Then, you texted me "hey I need a company logo from you RIGHT NOW!!!!!! I'll send you half the money I owe you now and half the money when you get me the logo. Hurry I need it!!!!"

So in my head I'm like, oh yeah he owes me $30. Cool. So I started to try and get you the logo because I wanted to help you out not because of 15 ****ing dollars that you owed me. I honestly tried and even sent you a couple things that I guess didn't work.

Then, you kept texting me all day telling me I couldn't get my $15 til you got the logo and I'm like "WTF does this dude really think I'll run around doing his job because he is holding hostage $15 from a bet we made several months ago? F that." And then I just started ignoring you.

I seriously hate you for arguing with me about $15 for a year. I never expected you to pay me, but I'm also obviously not handing someone an exact amount of money that they owe me.
