Nice try. I watched with a large group that was almost equally split between U fans and Y fans. We watched the play several times and in the end everybody agreed that the Y player tackled the U player. I agree that it would have been fun to watch Taysom throw it 15 rows into the grandstand behind the end zone on the final play of the game, though. That kids arm is entertainingly inaccurate!
The bigger question is, what's with the almost perfect geometric sweat patterns on so many of the BYU players (not just in this clip but from the first play of the game).
Well then how do violations normally get reported? Do people usually just turn themselves in, is there some sort of an Honor Code Violation Patrol that goes around looking for infractions, do people typically end up getting ratted out by someone else, or is there some other mechanism at play that I haven't thought of? My gut instinct is that the vast majority of infractions are the result of being ratted out, and I could swear I'd heard that students are encouraged to let the Honor Code office know if they become aware of violations.
Well, maybe that's because it's so incredibly obvious to all the other BYU fans that it was a good non-call. Just sayin'...
