Gamethread: Utah Jazz @ Sacramento Kings. 6:00PM MST

But is anyone comparing Crowder/O’Neale to Favors/Mitchell? I get that people have to reference one game where that was the case, but nobody’s advocating Crowder/O’Neale, just Crowder.
People are acting like changing the starting lineup did anything last night compared to our usual starting lineup

Mirotic is a better player, but considering the cost in assets to acquire him, in addition to Mirotic's contract status, I think there is room for debate on making the move or not before he ultimately ended up a Pelican.

But the Bjelica **** was a pure miss. 100% blown opportunity.

I assumed he'd get full MLE. He got 3 years at 6.5 per year... final year non-guaranteed. That is such a damn bargain. Considering we coulda just let Thabo and Jonas go he would have been free this year.

Probably could have squeezed Dante a bit more and still had max space next year.

We should call Vlade every day... complain about how Joeger doesn't play Baglye and Giles enough... Just keep checking in everyday until he trades him for seconds to us.

Just get him a couple packs of Marlboros.

I'm not sure either... they got off to such an ugly start that I'd like to see it one more time. Some could argue that it helped get Ricky some space, but I'm not sure that was the case.

I think it's a change that needs to happen long term and I wouldn't rush back to it. Sounds like Favs took it like a champ... Per Tony Jones.

They are. There has been a huge scapegoating of Favors in the starting lineup. Even when the starting lineup has gone even or won, people still blame the starting lineup.

And my guess is they are going to do what Toronto does and do a flexible starting lineup.

I think that’s the most fair and it might get Favs more court time or just use him better.

It just made so much sense to do it last night because of Sacramento’s rotation. Indy starts Sabonis and Turner so it might make sense to go back to Favs and Rudy.

I mean if Ricky was shooting like he was last night I’m sure the starting lineup is at least even in Q1 no matter what.

Also, I wish Quin would instruct Favors to try above the break 3's.

The 3's Favors makes from the corner are when he has a lot of time and doesnt rush them. He seems to change his shot when someone is attempting to close out, which is almost always in the corner. I'd be interested to see his accuracy from above the break and how the defense would react.

Which team out there needs Burks? He has looked aggressive lately.

Like HH said, we need him. However, I would like to see his minutes go to Grayson, O'Neale and Exum since I don't think Burks is in our long term plans. Those 3 guys need the minutes and Burks never has Quin's full trust anyway.

Around the NBA, I could see the following teams looking at a guy like Burks (for his play not necessarily his contract):
Bucks - they could use some scoring off the bench
Sixers - he's not the "shooter" they covet, but they have poor depth
Pistons - they could use as many wings as possible to go with that frontcourt
Pelicans - they are another PG and frontcourt heavy team
Hornets - they have some bad contracts and some inconsistent wing play
