Got ahead of myself, we play the Lakers Saturday and Suns Wednesday

If Lonzo can learn to defend, he'll be a good point guard. Until then.....

he wouldn't even see the floor if he played for Utah or San Antonio. Neto might send him to the D League

Pelicans scored on him at will last night.

lakers lose by 5 to the pelicans. Lonzo ball is a -24 (team worst) in 36 minutes. 3-13 shooting, 0-5 from 3, 5 turnovers. (i dont want to talk about his assists and rebounds though lol)

they were actually much better with him on the bench. I think Lonzo Ball is going to be a good player but hes not the hyped second coming people make him out to be. He lacks the raw explosive athleticism to get buckets at will like a mvp rose, or westbrook. The second thing I noticed is he fails to really provide the lakers with a dynamic offense. His offenseive game makes the lakers predictable, he doesn't create shots very well. He racks up a lot of assists because everything goes through him, he gets a lot of bunnies. He can hit 3s but he's just not good enough right now to create the spacing his team needs.

His defense is also abysmal atm. Lets see if he can improve, but I see him at a mid tier point guard in 2-3 yrs.

Man, Giannis is easily the early favorite to win MVP and maybe more awards. Through 3 games he is averaging 38.3 ppg on 67% shooting and a 43.5 PER. I doubt he stays that incredible but that is still a hot start and I expect if he is healthy he is going to keep putting up big numbers.

It'll be between Giannis, LeBron, and Leonard (unless he's down with nagging injuries all season).

He'll have to carry their scoring load until Parker comes back and even then how healthy will Parker be when he comes back?
